Workshop on the image and video annotation software BIIGLE

The workshop is dedicated to the presentation of BIIGLE, a web-based software for image and video annotation that enables collaborative research on large datasets. BIIGLE provides tools for manual and computer-assisted annotation, quality control and collaboration on custom taxonomies for describing objects. The system is freely available and can be installed in cloud environments, a local network or on mobile platforms during research expeditions. In addition to a general presentation of the software, the workshop offers space for a hands-on session with subsequent discussion.
The workshop is open to NFDI4Biodiversity members and other interested parties. The former will find the access data in the internal project area; external participants are asked to contact info@biigle.de if they are interested in participating.
