Winter School: Research with Natural Science Collections – Data, Quality and Methods

The WiNoDa Knowledge Lab offers a five-day, practice-oriented online winter school on essential data skills for working with natural science collections – organised in collaboration with NFDI4Biodiversity.
Participants will explore the complete “data journey”: from understanding data types and standards to enriching datasets, improving quality, and publishing them as FAIR and open data. Practical exercises will include working with SQL to manage and harmonise complex collection data efficiently.

The event is aimed at researchers and curators who work with collection data or wish to improve the quality of their datasets. Participation is free of charge and limited to 30 places.
